30th Anniversary Open
Hey everyone, on behalf of Lilian and the family, I just want to send out a huge thank you to all who participated in the 30th-anniversary open. We had an amazing day, and despite the slightly chilly weather for June, we managed to keep the rain at bay. Big congratulations to Gary Aldred and Richard Greaves, who clinched the overall victory with 41 points, edging out Stuart Farquhar and Archie Farquhar in a card playoff. The golf course at our club has a rich history. It was opened in June 1994 by none other than Kenny Daglish himself. Our founder, Frank Hargreaves, was there to celebrate with guests and founder members. The tradition of the Captain's green jacket was started by our inaugural Captain, Len Ingram, and it continues to this day.
