Golf at Mytton Fold
Mytton Fold Golf Club is widely regarded as one of the most scenic 18 hole golf courses in Lancashire, situated between Blackburn and Clitheroe and only 20 minutes from Preston or Chorley. The course layout is set into the hillside with simply stunning views across the Ribble Valley. The 5860 yard course features undulating fairways, and a real variety of holes which represents a fair test for golfers of all standards and will likely require you to use every club in your bag to achievce the par of 70.
If you prefer your golf to be more relaxing, or indeed if you are organising a society visit why not take advantage of our fleet of 10 state of the art Buggies with built in range finders. There are all-weather buggy tracks around the course also so they are never out of play.
We are a very friendly club and organise midweek and weekend competitions throughout the year, our famous Sip it and Flip it and Algarve competitions cant be missed. You will find our members are very welcoming, and always keen to talk to visitors or potential new members.
Mytton Fold also boasts a thriving and successful Senior Section. They meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30am and if you join them you are guaranteed a warm welcome, some healthy competition and a bit of banter.
We also offer taster sessions for new golfers looking to try the sport for the first time on Monday evenings so why not come down and give it a try.

Welcome to Mytton Fold Golf Club
Mytton Fold Golf Club is widely regarded as one of the most scenic and enjoyable 18 hole golf courses in the heart of the Ribble Valley, Lancashire. The golf course is ideally situated between Blackburn and Clitheroe and just 20 minutes from Preston or Chorley and Burnley.
The course is set into the hillside with stunning views across the Ribble Valley. Opened by Kenny Dalglish in 1994 this 5860 yard course features expansive, undulating fairways, and a real variety of holes which represents a fair test for golfers of all standards and will likely require you to use every club in your bag to achieve the par of 70. (Course slope rating is White - 119, Yellow - 121 & Red - 120)
If you prefer your golf to be more relaxing, or indeed if you are organising a society visit why not take advantage of our fleet of 14 buggies. There are all-weather buggy tracks around the course also so the buggies are never out of play. From just £28 each per round they will ensure that your golf at Mytton Fold is a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Mytton Fold Golf Club boasts a thriving and successful Senior Section. The Seniors meet on Tuesday mornings each week at 9:15am and if you join them you are guaranteed a warm welcome, some healthy competition and a bit of banter.
Our Taster Sessions run between May to September each year these give new golfers the opportunity to learn a little about the game, try it out for themselves and learn the rules and etiquette. For four consecutive Thursday evenings the Golf Coach will guide you along – in a convivial atmosphere to give it a go. The cost of the Taster Sessions is discounted from your membership when you decide to join.
